Halloween Parade
Saturday before Halloween, meet at Carlstadt Civic Center and walk to Lindbergh Field for Candy Scavenger Hunt and Halloween Pictures.
Memorial Day Parade
9:00 AM parade starts at American Legion located on
Third Street and continues to Memorial Park on Hackensack Street for a brief ceremony.
Summer Recreation
Registration in June. Recreation is 9:00 - 3:00 pm daily starting in July. Program is for grades Pre-k through 6th grade.
Movie Under the Stars
June - Lindbergh Field - bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concession stand is open.
Annual School Picnic
Parade begins at 11:00 am from the corner of Third and Broad Streets. Children in grades Pre-k through 8th grade that are Carlstadt residents can participate. Picnic follows immediately at Little League Field located on Ninth Street.
National Night Out
Scheduled on the first Tuesday in August. The evening is dedicated to heightening crime prevention and personal safety awareness. The event will be held outside the police headquarters from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. The event is an evening of community spirit, socializing and refreshments.
Annual Tree Lighting
The first Thursday in December. Citizens gather in front of the municipal building sing holiday songs and wait in anticipation for the tree to be lit on the municipal lawn. Annually Santa makes a visit on one of the borough fire trucks. Refreshments are served in the fire department located on Jefferson Street.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Held two Saturdays preceding Easter Sunday at the Carlstadt Civic Center from 9:00 A.M.– 11:00 A.M.
Fire Department Fish Fry
Held on Good Friday at the Jefferson Street Firehouse. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Borough Hall at 201-939-2850.
Flu Clinic
The Board of Health sponsors an Annual Flu Clinic generally in early October. Call 201-939-2856 for additional information
Rabies Clinic
The Board of Health sponsors a Rabies Clinic in late March or April of each year. Call 201-939-2856 for additional information.
Fire Department Installation
Held on the second Friday in January in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Building.
Reorganization Meeting
Held on New Year’s Day at 1:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Building. After the meeting refreshments are served in the Fire Department meeting room. All are welcome to attend.
