The Carlstadt Board of Health would like to remind all dog owners that their 2010 dog/cat licenses are due.
Licenses for dogs renewed between March 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010 will be subject to a $5.00 late fee. Fees for 2010 are $8.00 if your pet is altered: $11.00 unaltered.
The license fee for cats is $3.50 if your cat is altered and $6.00 for unaltered.
Please remember that your dog/cat must be immunized against rabies for the first 10 months of the year 2010. If you dog’s/cat’s rabies vaccine expires prior to November 1, 2010 your dog/cat must receive a booster prior to applying for the new license.
The annual rabies clinic will be held at the Jefferson Street Firehouse at a later date.
Licenses can be obtained by mail by enclosing a copy of the current rabies certificate and proof of spaying or neutering along with your check made out to the Borough of Carlstadt. Failure to obtain a 2010 dog/cat license will result in a summons.
