The Borough of Carlstadt working with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission is pleased to announce that the Mobile MVC Unit will be in Carlstadt from Monday, February 5, to Friday, February 9, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Jefferson Street Firehouse Parking Lot.

The Mobile MVC Unit will be available to perform License & Registration Renewals on a walk in basis. Your license must be a Class D license as they will not be processing CDL’s. You will need to make an appointment for the following services:

Please note that once all appointments have been booked, these services will be unavailable at this time.

CDLs, exams, new titles, and out-of-state transfers are not performed at the mobile unit.
