Diane DeBiase

Councilwoman DeBiase was appointed to the Council in 2019 to fill the unexpired term of then-Councilman Bob Zimmermann after he took office as Mayor. Diane is an example of the “new Carlstadt,” in that she is a longtime resident rather than lifelong meaning she has chosen Carlstadt as her home. After having done so, Diane spent much of her time volunteering in Carlstadt to contribute to the community and ensuring it continues to be a place where our current residents have a great quality of life, and future residents choose Carlstadt just like her family did. Diane won re-election in 2020 for the remainder of the unexpired term, and in 2021 was re-elected to a full three year term.

Many people will know Diane from Carlstadt Public School where she works in the administration department. When not working or involved in community activities, Diane enjoys spending time with her family including her husband Ron, daughter McKenna, and sons Ronny and Jackson
